Corporate Division Powertrain

Employment – full time

Tasks

Optimize all processes and technologies within the existing process. Provide expertise for keeping stability of process capability to ensure manufacturing running smoothly and product quality.

Key Responsibility

· Supporting deliver production system functionality by station checking on project phase

· Leading continuous improvements during series production, Analyze weak points within manufacturing operations and rectify to ensure stability, reliability and capability on HVB .

· Liaise, negotiate, and influence relevant partners to ensure the preferred operational requirements of products and processes are meet in accordance with all health, safety, environmental and BMW standards on series production.

· Analyze the root cause of faults/problems on serious production and apply methodology to ensure all problem resolution activities are completed in a proactive and systematic approach.

· Ensure and improve all Q-critical features in series production, maintaining efficiency and minimizing downtime and rework to maximize the performance.

· Generate regular checking method and analysis showing trends in faults being generated or found in HVB area, Ensure records are up to date and manage process control.

· Provide appropriate levels of training to associates as business requires within the HVB area.

· Manage and maintain parameter list after SOP and working instruction.

Qualification

· Master degree / graduated in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing

· Knowledge of HVB manufacturing processes

· Knowledge of high volume manufacturing preferably within the automotive industry

· Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues using systematic problem resolution techniques.

· Knowledge of process control techniques and electrical knowledges

· Highly developed communication skills in a multi-cultural working environment, Competence to motivate and co-ordinate people and mobilize resources to achieve desired results.

· Skills with analyzing and reporting, with high level of personal commitment and motivation.

· Skills with project management.

· Proficient English, German would be an advantage

· Background in high volume automotive industries.

· Experience with product assembly

· Several years experience in systematic analyzing and resolving technical issues

· Experience with process control.
